Through the analysis of the student’s personal characteristics, of the teacher’s skills and of knowledge they should possess in order to carry out an effective teaching activity as well as of the role that technology plays today in the teaching-learning process, we will try to understand how students and teachers act during the English language learning-teaching process. The data taken from middle school class observation will be analysed and compared with a questionnaire submitted to the students in order to understand their perception and the value they give to the English language. In addition, the study case will allow to understand whether current teaching methods are effective or not and, if not, how the system could be improved to suit the needs of each individual student in a constantly evolving society like ours.
