This study discusses the possible investment in a new small enterprise in Gotland, Sweden; in the Food & Beverage sector specialised in Italian Food. The thesis start with the presentation of the scene: Gotland Island. The presentation include the description of the place, description of the economics and the principals industries including tourism industry. Below the central topics are the analysis of Swedish consumers' attitude to Italian food, Analysis of the Food & Beverage sector in Gotland, Create and develop new small enterprises, with an introduction of rules, laws and financial aspect to follow in Sweden. The last but not least, the business plan of the new small business enterprise will be presented. The idea of this thesis research derive from the device of the author to recognize the business opportunity in Visby, Gotland. This business idea fill an existing gap in the food and beverage sector in the tourist Island. The analysis of Swedish consumers' attitude to Italian food allows the author to have a picture regarding the correlation between the future consumers and the offer's product. In general, all the subjects treated in this context are useful for the readers, that would like to have an idea about how to open new enterprises in Sweden, and for the author that will use this information to develop her own small enterprise.
