The fabrication of a high performance heterostructure Nanoparticle capable of electrocatalytic action for Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in water, a promising strategy toward a more environmental friendly energy production. Herein, A hydrothermal synthesis of Cobalt Oxide / Cobalt Sulfide heterostructure was created to assess its abilities as a conventional substitute to older HER in water materials. The material is characterized with an XRD to further ensure the stability and formation of nanocrystalline material. The formation of Cobalt Oxide/ Cobalt sulfide facilitated easy charge transport and showed synergistic electrocatalytic effect toward HER water splitting reaction.
