Abstract

This essay aims to depict the provision of early child care in Italy exploiting the geographical location of public and private structures. We introduce a new variable of accessibility to the service built through the location of the demand (inhabited areas) and supply (location of structures). We use data from population census, childcare structures and surveys from ISTAT, while the spatial analysis will be computed using a GIS software (QGIS).
