In recent years, as digital platforms have become increasingly important, the role of influencers has become more clearly defined. These individuals are no longer merely visible social media users; they can build genuine communities around their activities, develop business models, and act as intermediaries between companies and the public. At the same time, influencers operate within environments controlled by external entities that dictate the fundamental conditions under which their activities take place. This thesis aims to analyze the relationship between constraints and the efforf for response, examining the influencer's role from two perspectives: on one hand, the "passive" influencer, subject to rules over which they have no say; on the other, the "active" influencer, who can leverage their visibility, audience relationships, and connections with other creators to make their voice heard and contribute to a collective response, supported by essential social movement actions. The thesis focuses on the ecosystem surrounding the role-playing game sector and the platform where influencers in this niche are most active: YouTube, also introducing the concept of the SRD (System Reference Document), which is fundamental to this field. The study then examines a specific case involving the sector's leading player during a crisis with its community and influencers: Dungeons & Dragons and the controversy surrounding the Open Gaming License (OGL). This analysis is conducted by examining YouTube videos, observing the role of influencers before, during, and after the controversy.

Abstract
This analysis is conducted by examining YouTube videos, observing the role of influencers before, during, and after the controversy.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
