This thesis documents the entrepreneurial conception and development of Storezy, a user-friendly peer-to-peer self-storage platform conceived during the Entrepreneurship & Strategy course. Storezy connects owners of underutilised private space: garages, basements, parkings and spare rooms, with individuals and small businesses seeking flexible, affordable and geographically convenient storage in urban centres. The idea emerged from two observations. First, a structural market inefficiency: the growing urban density creates unmet demand for storage, while volumes of private space remain unused in city centres where demand is most. Second, a supply-side shift: traditional self-storage operators, burdened by facility costs, are relocating to city peripheries, away from users. Beyond logistics, Storezy’s mission is to reshape the perceptions of self-storage, transforming it from a long, tedious and opaque process into a quick, convenient and seamless experience. International peers: Neighbor, Stashbee and others validate the model, while Italy remains an open market. This thesis traces the entrepreneurial journey from idea to validated business model, integrating course frameworks: Schumpeter; Hayek; Business Model Canvas; Lean Canvas and Lean Startup methodology, with direct entrepreneurial reasoning, survey data and an analysis of Storezy's revenue logic and cost structure. The broader competitive strategy and internationalisation plan are developed in a companion thesis.
