Corporate sustainability has become an important aspect for companies, so much so that it has become part of corporate strategy. Globally, corporate sustainability has become essential for companies and regulators have begun to adopt rules and tools to ensure that companies proper disclose their sustainability information. In Europe specifically, a deliberate legislative pathway has been made leading first to the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) and then to the adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), with the more recent simplifications introduced by the Omnibus I Package. The CSRD mandates companies within its scope to adopt the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which, among various requirements, require companies to adopt a double materiality perspective, which combines impact materiality and financial materiality. This thesis aims to analyze and address the concept of double materiality and how the materiality assessment process is carried out by companies subject to CSRD. To support this analysis, it specifically analyze the double materiality process adopted by Omnia Technologies in 2025, which, although not obligated under the CSRD, voluntarily implemented the materiality process in line with ESRS.

Abstract
To support this analysis, it specifically analyze the double materiality process adopted by Omnia Technologies in 2025, which, although not obligated under the CSRD, voluntarily implemented the materiality process in line with ESRS.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
