This thesis examines a potential application of co-creation practices within the Italian funding tool, Art Bonus. The research begins with an overview of the factors causing the decrease of public funding in the cultural sector, followed by a theoretical overview of co-creation with its potential application in the non-profit context. The Art Bonus is analysed in-depth through its theoretical framework, its operational mechanism, and a quantitative and qualitative analysis of this tool since its creation. Through the examination of the most significant and representative case studies, the thesis highlights the co-creation dynamics in the Art Bonus practices and how these positively influence a potential collaboration between communities and institutions.
