This thesis explores the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employee engagement, two areas increasingly important for modern organizations. In today’s global context of economic and social challenges, CSR has emerged as a strategic tool that not only improves a company’s reputation and competitiveness but also strengthens internal culture. At the same time, employee engagement is recognized as a key driver of productivity, innovation, and long-term growth. While both topics are well studied separately, their intersection remains less explored. The purpose of this research is to examine how CSR initiatives influence employee engagement, focusing on both internal practices (such as training, well-being, and inclusivity) and external programs (such as community support and environmental action). The study combines secondary data from academic literature and reports with primary data collected through interviews with managers from companies of different sizes and sectors, operating internationally and locally. The findings suggest that CSR initiatives can play a critical role in creating pride, trust, and motivation among employees, especially when internal and external actions complement each other. Based on this, the thesis provides practical recommendations for companies seeking to apply CSR more effectively as a way to enhance engagement, strengthen resilience, and achieve sustainable success.

Abstract
Based on this, the thesis provides practical recommendations for companies seeking to apply CSR more effectively as a way to enhance engagement, strengthen resilience, and achieve sustainable success.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
