This thesis focuses on the analysis of permanent capital investments made by a specific permanent capital vehicle in its subsidiaries. The main objective is to assess the decision-making process behind these transactions and their impact on the economic and financial performance of the target companies. Through an in-depth analysis of financial statements, company reports and other relevant sources, the aim is to reconstruct the motivations that drove the vehicle to invest in these specific companies, as well as the way in which the investment was structured. Subsequently, a comparative analysis of the target companies' performance before and after the vehicle's entry will be carried out in order to identify any correlations between the investments made and the results achieved. The investigation aims to provide a contribution to the understanding of the role of permanent capital in the context of corporate investments, with particular reference to the Italian case. The results obtained may be useful to both investors and companies, providing indications on the potential opportunities and challenges related to this type of financing.
