This paper analyses the transition from a phase of growing commercial openness to a new season characterized by protectionist policies, with particular attention to the effects on internationalized companies. The first chapter examines the advantages, risks and main internationalization strategies adopted by companies, as well as the motivations and tools through which Countries choose to resort to protectionism, including duties, quotas and subsidies. The second chapter addresses the challenges posed by the current global scenario, with a focus on United States tariff policy and the economic and strategic repercussions for international enterprises. The third chapter is dedicated to the case study of R.W. Beckett Corporation, an American Company active in the production of thermal solutions and related systems. The history and reasons for the internationalisation of the Company, its organisational structure, values, products, target markets and supply chain are analysed. Finally, the fourth chapter examines the impact of internationally introduced “tariff waves” and mitigation strategies adopted by the Beckett Group. The analysis reveals how the Company has tried to maintain its competitiveness and resilience in the face of an increasingly uncertain global context characterized by new trade barriers.

Abstract
The analysis reveals how the Company has tried to maintain its competitiveness and resilience in the face of an increasingly uncertain global context characterized by new trade barriers.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
