The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) to organisations is a process of technological, cultural and psychological transformation. Employee resistance can significantly impact its success. Drawing on the theoretical foundations of behavioural management and models of acceptance and resistance to technological innovations, this thesis explores the psychological and organisational factors that influence employees' attitudes towards integrating AI. It analyses perceptions of opportunities and risks, concerns about job security, openness to new technologies and trust in communication and leadership. Additionally, it explores whether parallels or differences can be identified with previous technological changes. Methodologically, the thesis combines a comprehensive literature review with a quantitative online survey capturing the attitudes and experiences of employees from various industries. The aim is to identify the key factors that influence acceptance or resistance, and to develop practical recommendations for change communication and leadership. Thus, this work contributes to a better understanding of the conditions for successfully introducing AI in organisations.
