Hazards to national security from foreign direct investment in People’s Republic of China

As foreign investment bring wellness to the economic and social situation in a country; it can also pose a threat to national security of China, its internal and external stability and position on the world map. That’s why updating China's legal system in the field of foreign investment is also aimed at protecting China's economy. The object of the study is the legislation in the field of foreign investment, as well as laws regulating national security. The subject of this study is the Foreign Investment Law of 2020, the National Security Law of 2015 and the Measures for Reviewing the Security of China's Foreign Investment. The purpose of this work: To study the impact of the relationship between foreign investment and national security in the legislative acts of the People's Republic of China on foreign activities in the country.
