Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) are two related but distinct concepts. Both concern companies' commitment to sustainability and the improvement of social and environmental impact, but they differ in their approach, objectives and measurability. The main differences can be identified in the ‘Definition and Focus’; in the ‘Voluntariness vs. Measurability’; in the ‘Scope’; in the ‘Corporate Strategy’; between the ‘Stakeholders and Applicability’.
La Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) e gli Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sono due concetti correlati ma distinti. Entrambi riguardano l'impegno delle aziende verso la sostenibilità e il miglioramento dell'impatto sociale e ambientale, ma si differenziano per approccio, obiettivi e misurabilità. Le principali differenze possono identificarsi nella “Definizione e Focus”; nella “Volontarietà vs. Misurabilità”; nello “Scopo”; nella “Strategia Aziendale”; tra gli “Stakeholder e Applicabilità”.
