The thesis investigates the connection between emotional competencies and the role of event managers. The research starts with the analysis of existing literature about event managers and emotional competencies, and how these two topics intersect. After this, an experimental phase will be conducted, using Behavioral Event Interviews (BEI) to explore which emotional competencies naturally emerge among event managers in practice. The results will be then compared with emotional competencies found in the literature.
