This paper deals with the feasability of implementing exercises targeting language learning into a restrictive videogame environment following the tradition of so called “serious games”. In our prototype this would be a fictional operating room surgery. A sidebenefit of this task based ludic approach is that language is not the explicit goal of the activity, rather it is more naturally used as a mean through which to achieve something else, resembling the role played by native speakers’ languages.

Abstract
