The study investigates whether the industry and its major players are genuinely committed to promoting sustainability in the transport sector or merely producing products that appear sustainable as a means of maintaining industry viability. It draws on a literature review that is supported by secondary data to provide an in-depth analysis of the sustainability of the automotive industry.
