In the last decade, there has been a growing interest in studying women’s careers within the field of entrepreneurship. Despite this increased focus, entrepreneurship continues to be predominantly male-dominated. One possible explanation for this disparity is that certain qualities often associated with success in this field are tied to gender stereotypes, leading to a cultural bias. This thesis aims to investigate female entrepreneurship and the significance of identity in this particular work environment. After a comprehensive literature review, the study delves into the analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with female entrepreneurs based in the Belluno and Treviso areas. Through the use of these interviews, the thesis explores the experiences of these women as entrepreneurs and leaders, as well as their pursuit of a strong sense of identity in their professional lives.

Abstract
Through the use of these interviews, the thesis explores the experiences of these women as entrepreneurs and leaders, as well as their pursuit of a strong sense of identity in their professional lives.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
