M&A operations and their response to the challenges of the Pandemic. Legal profiles and perspectives.

the purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact that covid-19 has had and is continuing to have in the world of acquisitions. More specifically, three cases will be analysed, namely SPAC, MAE clauses and Golden Power. I will start by explaining what they are, then try to analyse the market at this point in time to give an explanation of the behaviour and how these "vehicles" are used around the world. I will analyse and explain why these instruments have boomed with the arrival of the pandemic, and their continuous growth and evolution. Then I will give three examples that can serve as practical examples of their use. I will close the paper by giving my personal opinion and a probable prediction of how the world of acquisitions will evolve after an important historical event such as Covid-19 which has touched all of us and all markets in the world.
